DeleteFirstly, it is not GB and MB, it is Gb and Mb. the difference between capital B and small b is 8 b = 1 B.
Secondly, 1Gb+512Mb is neither free memory nor it is a memory card. It is telling you the flash memory size (ram+rom) only, out of which you finally get the 43Mb space to use for storing files on it.
So, be careful when you leave any comment anywhere. You should learn first and then talk about it. Jottoshob murkho amar deshe.

ReplyDeleteI bought this set on 19 October from Basundhara City at BDT 8500/-. But internet can not configure. From GP CCC they told this hand set has some problem with opera and that’s why company stops distributing. Hopefully after resolving interne...t and other problem the company will start distributing this set again. If everything goes well this would be one of the best set in its price range with features but not now. If any one interested for my one, can call me on 01711664221, I am agree to sell, I did not use it. I bought it on that date and left country. I’ll be back on 21 October. Thanks

ReplyDeletewhat about the camera resolution? they say that it has a 2mp snapper but i think it's actually 3.2mp. the resolution of 2 mp snappers are 1600x1200. but so far i can remember ft30 had 2048x1536 resolution for its camera! but they advertised it saying it has a 2mp camera although actually it has 3.2mp! how strange! :O

ReplyDeletemost java apps/games don't run on the FT40, I tried many, they're either built for keypad sets or they fail to load (hang)..
The only thing you can do is change your pdfs to txt files and use the "Ebook reader" to read them...
txt files ARE Ebooks nonetheless :P (if i have a Harry Potter book in txt file format, then who can deny that it isn't an electronic book...?) :D [another Chinese invention sorry]
So ya, there you go, if you want to read full pdfs you could try installing/using some pdf reader soft from those weird java sites out there... but most of them won't work... so.. :(
Again, the "Ebook" functionality is limited to txt files ONLY... so it's fun to read books on the FT40...if you want to load a full pdf with pictures/equations or symbols (even Bengali text) i have serious doubts whether they'd open on the Java app above-mentioned... whose only solution is an iPhone

When any Java application is installed in Symphony FT38 or 40 Where will the shortcut be appeared ? Please inform me.
ReplyDeleteThere is no shortcut.You will found the main application either in java option or in the folder you have installed it.
ReplyDeleteAs the application is jar file none is appeared here. From (Java ->Option -> Launch) only the latest application used on the phone can be launched. For example if i install dictionary then it can be opened by java option just after installation the dictionary. But when I run any other program such as Facebook or Opera then only the latest application such as Facebook or opera can be launched from java option, not dictionary. please help me.
