Take symphony ft40.
This is a chinese rebranded phone. Spice imported it naming Spice M-6900 Knight, Karbonn imported it naming Karbonn K 1616.

So you can get any decent chinese phone if you want it cheap.

Just check the hardware specs and take it. But chinese phones do not mean that it is for free. If you get it cheap, the performance will be cheap too.

And in 8000 taka, do not expect capacitive multi touch with flash player. Do not expect to run nfs shift.
.
Just expect a great interface with some more customization which java platform cannot offer. And you can expect angry birds along with other normal games, lag while multitasking, and so on.
.
The main thing is, if you want a dual sim touch phone, and if spending 5500 on micromax qube looks normal to you, then you can spend 2500 more and get something better.

Never dare to check out xperia, galaxy or optimus series, and buy this thinking that, this is also an android.

Android is just a platform. It does not make your phone a galaxy s 3.

ReplyDeletePlease, let us stop with the guesses and try to get some real information. Can someone who has used it please let us know the following:
ReplyDelete1. The CPU speed and type (ARM9 or ARM11?)
2. The amount of RAM
3. Does it have a GPU (Adreno 200 GPU is common in any decent Android set)?
You can easily find out these information with a system info utility (e.g. Android Assistant or Android System Info) from the Market.
If it has ARM 9 processor and no GPU, it is likely to be slow. No one should make an Android device with less than 256 mb memory.
At any rate, the price is very good.

ReplyDeleteYes.Only Kingstar T 50 has real Android 2.2 froyo with 350MHz processor and 256MB ram.
ReplyDeleteI did not buy that set, but I played with it nearly 2 hours. I compared with LG P500 (Optimus One), the other Android I found near. This is a real Android 2.2 Froyo (with customization). But the interface clarity is not great as LG. Processor lags behind LG. Graphics better than J2ME based Chinese mobiles, but still far from LG, which used Adreno 200. It might run some low level Android apps which are specially coded for low resource phone, but not the average apps. Good for low budget, but wanting to taste Android (it will be a Starter to buy expensive sets latter).

I use this mobile. Very good feature in low price. User interface is fast but not so smooth like galaxy Y. High end apps are not supported but you can run any basic application from android market. Display is resistive so you need some extra pressure to works on it. One important correction is that its display is 2.8 inc.
